Let’s Get Education Back on Track

Why I’m running:

I’m running for the Mira Costa School Board because I believe that the future of our country and the preservation of our liberty depend on the minds we educate today. The next generation holds the responsibility to safeguard our freedoms, which are always just one generation away from extinction.

Unfortunately, in recent years, our public schools have shifted their priorities away from education. Instead of fostering critical thinking, there’s been an increased emphasis on teaching students to become political activists.

If elected to the Mira Costa School Board, I pledge to refocus our schools on core educational fundamentals: Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, History, Civics, and the hard sciences. Additionally, I will ensure our students are taught the essential American virtues and values, such as liberty, the rule of law, and the dignity of hard work.

Whether you have a child in the district, plan on attending Mira Costa yourself, or are simply a concerned community member, the decisions made by the School Board impact all of us. The education and values instilled at Mira Costa shape not only future students but also the very fabric of our community, affecting your neighbors, coworkers, and employees. A strong and focused school system benefits everyone by preparing individuals to contribute positively to society.

About:

My Name is Alexander Wells III, I was born and raised in Encinitas, CA and I absolutely love everything these beach communities have to offer. As a native of San Diego I am familiar with the surrounding neighborhoods and I am committed to serving the community I call home.

Growing up in Cardiff by the Sea showed me the finer and most amazing outlooks on what life truly has to offer. Outside of my professional career I enjoy being active under the wonderful San Diego sun and sharing laughs on the beach with my friends and family.
